Wrong forum. Thumpers are rangers

Anyho, Dire or Elder.
Hearty is baed and can't kill shit
Dire might start blowing up if it accumulates DP though.

most are pvp only characters anyways, so elder is the only choice

Dire is prob your best bet in PvE or PvP. Due to its low health, it gets targeted alot more and takes abit of preasure off your team, and since all max level pets have 80 armor, it ends up being alot better than a squishy taking the brunt of it. DP also isn't a factor in PvE, making it an even better choice. The only reason not to evolve dire is to obtain a larger pet, which is also understandable. Either way it's PvE, so the extra damge boost, or minor health buff make no true gameplay difference, and it ends up being preference.
